February 15th - March 31st, 2023

Requirements

Please ensure your submission meets the following guidelines

Please submit the first 10,000 words of your novel and a synopsis of the story in 12pt font size, 1.5 line spacing as a Word doc or PDF

Use the template below if you need help creating a synopsis

For this round of submissions the novel you submit must have an element of romance or crime and thriller, even if this is only a subplot.
The novel should not be published elsewhere

We are looking for work that has a compelling plot and a ProWritingAid minimum summary score of 60% in grammar and 90% in spelling.

Submissions Process

When you submit your work to Resurgence Novels it will be assessed by our team with one of two potential outcomes

Acceptance

Work that meets our standards with minimal grammatical or spelling errors, and a compelling plot

Rejection

Work with a compelling plot, but exhibiting some consistent grammatical errors or in need of some improvement

Rejection

We will provide feedback on your submission and you will be invited to resubmit during the next submissions window.

Acceptance

Once you've been accepted, we will send you a contract and our Author Code of Conduct, prior to your publication on our app.
